NEW WORKSHOP

New shows are being planned in Sussex, Surrey and London in 2023 and 2024.  Details will be published here as dates are confirmed.  


CURRENT PROJECTS
Current projects include illustrations for a book about the muses in history who inspired poets and artists.  This project involves researching, creating storyboards and initial sketches, writing text, choosing fonts and designing digital layouts, and producing artwork using printing methods, oil and coldwax.  

MATERIALS
Lois Pawson employs various methods to create artwork, using materials from quality suppliers - examples given below.
PRINTING
Intaglio Printmaker London for drypoint intaglio materials including plates, roulettes and scrapers, Charbonnel and Akua inks.  Lawrence Art Supplies Hove for lino printing materials.  Shepherds for chine collé materials.
PAINTING
Rosemary & Co. for artist brushes.  Cornellisen London for Oil Paints from Schmincke and Old Holland, gilding materials, pigments, gums and resins.  Lawrence Art Supplies Hove for painting mediums, coldwax, grounds, Old Holland watercolours, and Golden acrylics.
DRAWING
